I was surprised, just sitting on the bike it didn't feel that different than the 1125R. Sexy beast, as was the new Ducati

Some snap shots of details I haven't seen online, FWIW

How about this pic., it's my favorite.

It really had the "feel" of a 600cc bike, absolutely amazing!

Funny, I thought the 1190 felt about half as big as my CR. Narrow, light, compact. I looked Erik in the eye when I stood it up and asked "um...where's the rest of it??".

The beauty really is in the details.

At the Chicago show it was great to be able to get up close to the bike. In fact I went back twice to look at it. I thought is was very strange that the bike sat there for any body to sit on with no one from EBR there to watch the bike, answer questions etc. Saying the booth was understated is an understatement.

We have one of those thin, firm foam pad seats on our endurance bike and I really like it, honestly. It's shockingly comfortable.

So the rectangular container inside the fairing is a combo Fuel Vapor/Coolant recovery?? Maybe with two compartments?

Might be lighter. Doesn't need to be all that strong.
