I know the welds looked like crap.It sounds terribly poppy sounding.Really raspy.
When buying A pipe I keep these items in mind.
1 Ground clearance.>> doesn't have
2 Sound>>>> doesn't have
3 Good Wieght>> Probably not
4 Quality of work. Welds I've seen looked bad
5 stainless package /wool. Dont know??
6 Cost. ???
7 Will a full fairing fit? Probably not
8 No droning effect. Definately!!
9 Stainless construction /carbon fiber Yes It may be stainless.
This was my overall review of this pipe.I would buy adams pipe over that pipe.At least his has a chamber That equalizes the two headers pressures.

I think the welds were just tacks to hold it in place for measurements on cnc bent tubing for later. It was also aluminized mild steel.
It's got over 4" of clearance, should be fine.
Sound is subjective, to each his own. I like mine deeper in tone.
Weight, probably 12 lbs or less. Just guessing, but it's lighter than stock for sure.
Not everyone can weld, but for a tack job to hold stuff in place, who cares? It's not for looks, it just needs to hold.
How is it packed, you'd have to ask him, I don't recall seeing anything on the other site he posted this on.
Cost, I think he said somewhere around $600-800, don't quote me on that though.
There may be a problem with a belly pan on it just from the outlet location, but I don't think thats something he's concerned about, it is on a nekkid bike. I like to show off the work, not hide it.
Drone is another subjective thing, it bothers some people at different ranges and not others. It's tough to design around it to not have any. Sometimes you get lucky though.
Stainless, can't tell from the video, but the stills are definitely not. He stated he was using aluminized steel for the test work. I think there were planned options for different outlets also, kinda like upgrades maybe.

Forgot to ask, are there any plans for a before/after set of dyno runs?

Those pictures were of development prototyping. D_adams appears to have informed himself properly.

It's not a bad looking design, although I wish it tucked up closer to the swingarm in the back. Seems to sound decent, at least in the short clip posted. I honestly probably wouldn't buy one--not because I don't think it's good, but because my first choices are either the Barker (cheap, looks good, supposedly makes good power) or D_adams (not as cheap but reasonably priced, looks and sounds good).

It doesn't look bad. I'm not a fan of low straight pipes. They look a little too cruiser-ish to me. I like angled up. It sounds pretty good too, but could definitely use a drive-by clip.

The price with options is way better than the Free Spirits, but then again it isn't as flash either.

Hey guys just to answer a few short questions.

Ground clearance is actually better than stock

Ill admit, welds dont look the greatest, but the photos posted are of prototyping. Why spend the time on good welds just to check fitment. All systems will be welded with much care.

Packing consists of continous spun fiberglass.

Stainless is in the works.

All systems come powdercoated black and will come with a tune specific to this exhaust.

More details coming soon and i do appreciate the comments. Thanks guys.

Interesting. The clamps are incredibly ugly. Hope the powdercoat is super high temp stuff as the usual stuff will turn to ash over about 600F.

I love all these mad exhaust designs. The idea of this prototype is pretty cool, but the devil is in the details. Look forward to seeing your final product.

Thanks for sharing.

I do agree that Ceramic coating is better. but no one here locally will ceramic coat. they will be high temp powder coated

I see on Buellitin Board you set your price at $750. Do you feel that you are pricing yourself out of the slip on category? Consider that you can get an FMF shipped for less than half that.

Just saying. And it's not even stainless. I'd want more for that much money. Not trying to piss in your Oatie O's but I think you are pricing the product too high.
