Anony, it would be interesting to get a list and price of said parts to bring us to 150 RWHP. I bet there would be some here that would be all over it.

I would imagine that parts list will show up on the EBR site in sue time, at least in the form of an option to buy various kits. We will just have to be patient.

I think alot of the parts will require engine teardown. Not many are up for that.I would tackle cams.

Sorry for the delay. The DSB type builds (stock pistons) use the standard spark plug. In our experience, a colder plug is not necessary.
The superbike engines use a surface gap NGK R0045Q-10 = not inexpensive. The electrode position allows for tighter piston to cylinderhead clearance and yes the higher compression calls for the one step "cooler" plug.

"How much do those parts cost.If im looking for a bike thats [sic] 150 rwhp. [sic] I'll buy a 09 r1 for 13k unless the 1125rr parts are cheap?"

Cause that's the only reason to decide on what to purchase, cost per HP. Ya gotta wonder how so many different motorcycles exist in the world when it's obvious that only a few can compete for the lowest cost per HP title.
