Hi there;
I am trying to justify the cost of the Drummer over a Jardine or FMF.

Those of you with 1125 Drummers..impressions please...

I would not buy any other system than the Drummer, just my thoughts.

Workmanship and engineering of Drummer is first class. It's a true upgrade to the bike. It's very obvious the Drummer was designed for the 1125 series, not just an adaptation of a universal system. The weld quality and overall design is excellent. Especially when compared to the "Torque Hammer" which looks like it was built as a 7th grade "shop class project". If those qualities are not important to you, it may still not be possible to justify the expense. In my opinion, it's also the best sounding system.

My Drummer is a fantastic product, both in looks and performance. It made the motor come alive. Just be aware that it is LOUD. It's not as bad as a D&D and it is a great sounding tone, but it's not for everyone.

Call Kevin Drum if you have any questions. He is a real class act and very helpful.

Bombproof construction. I tagged a ginormous pothole with mine, rattled my teeth from the impact, hit it hard enough to slide the can back on the inlet pipe till it was touching the rear tire. Whacked the $hit out of it.

After I scraped off the asphalt that was stuck to the front of the can, I was amazed that there was no damage at all.

Just friggin amazing.

The sound is the best, IMHO, and the customer service that you will receive from Kevin at KD Fabrications is second to none. He takes customer service to a whole nother level.

Drummer and a tune, and you're talking about a substantial difference in how the bike runs. Serious juice.

Worth the cost, on many different levels.

You will not be disappointed!

The website says remapping is not necessary... so is a tune optional or is it pretty much required?

So Carbon: since you're saying Drummer and a tune,..you mean Drummer and that *** package right ?

Can anybody post pics of the Drummer on a CR ?

I just wish it looked a bit nicer. Although since i have mostly made up my mind to buy that Eskalation belly pan, it might not be that much of an issue (if it will fit inside the belly pan that is)

Just curious, what's it get without a tune? Anybody have back to back runs, stock pipe and then a drummer on the same dyno, same day?

Customer service !! Kevin is a great guy that builds a awesome exhaust system. The craftmenship is top notch. My bike sounds awesome and once the bike had time to learn the pipe it has been runner great. It seems to run better the more miles I ride it. I will be a return customer in the future.

Drummer runs fine without a tune. Not necessary. Ran mine like that for 6 or 8 months.

BUT, it runs like a scalded ape with the tune.

Here's a pretty good pic.

Here's my best to best stock vs Drummer, no other mods.

Dame dyno, same operator, similar weather. like a week apart.

No $hit. It does make power. And does NOT screw up the powerband.

Good pipe, all the way around.

You won't be disappointed.

I'd really like a good quality video of it ... I'm pretty much sold on the Drummer already.

I was going to get my stock one modified for my XB9R ... but then I sold it and got the CR : )

Only one I can find on YouTube is this one (prototype):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UtU_V3boFw

And another one on AF1's dyno. Search, it's there.

All I can add to this is "I love mine".
Bulletproof and sounds good too.
Hat's off to Kevin for a VERY well built can.

Made in America by a red blooded American. Top notch craftsmanship and materials. Makes undeniable power. On top of all that if you got a problem you call the dude that made it and he takes care of you. I would save my money and spend it here.
