Well said "T"...

I had an 01' RC as well. I like my "R" much more...The RC was a VERY uncomfortable street bike. That is what I bought them for.

Seat of the pants, the "R" feels stronger...The RC had tall gearing and took effort to get the front wheel up.

My buddy has an SP-2...We will do some roll-ons once I get mine broken in.

T-man, good to hear...got a local guy with an rc that plans to run t&t nights in the spring. gonna have to be sure and line up with him for some passes. (09, piped, tuned, pingel shift)

T_man, the RC's fans/rads were not equipped to handle the heat produced by the motor that's why there were a few alternatives to address the heating issue. They notoriously over heated and spewed coolant when ridden on mildly warm days met with traffic. Where as the 1125 runs cool in comparison.
The RC51 in either SP-1 or SP-2 was a very expensive bike to make competitive.








The front mound radiators kits were around $3k
