JT, he painted it. Justin works at an Auto-Body shop, lucky bastage. For those wondering though, it's been proven that the Black & Blue '08's are THE FASTEST. (Since Blazin_Buell was the only 1 to pass me at ECR during Inside Pass, on his '08 1125R). The Red & White bikes were so far back, I couldn't even see them. | ||

Jake...thanks for the force fed epiphany. You are so right...since the white 08's by default have started out Black...then yes, the white 08's are faster than the white or red 09.    | ||

Steveoc, that's blue painter's tape unless I miss my guess. SOP for Trackday prep. Use blue painter's tape to tape over all lights, so that @ the end of the day(s) you can peel it off w/out leaving a gooey mess, like you would with duct tape. | ||

Steveoc- If you mean the headlight covers, that is just a tape job with bulbs pulled out. When I saw pictures of the 09 white bikes, I thought that was the best color combination made and I am jealous. One of these days I'll strip down and paint the frame/swingarm a matching engine color grey. My goal is to have a black & Amber copy like my Firebolt. | ||

I dont normally like white vehicles of any type, but the white 1125r is definitely my favorite. I saw one at a dealership a couple of weeks ago and it was the closest I've come to trading my bike. | ||
