I haven't had any problems since they replaced my fuel pump.

When I went out to leave for work, the fuel light and CEL came on again.
Once she hit operating temp they went out.

Mine has done the low fuel light on at times since I got it. No rhyme or reason. Doesn't matter how much fuel is in it. Does not matter what the temp is. When it is on it goes out once I get going. It does come on like it should when I am actually low. Just a glitch I ignore. I always use the trip meter to know how much fuel I have.

Voltage seems to be the one question that I have now... anyone keeping a tender on with like issues to report on cold start ups...with or without 08/09 clusters?

MM - Loretta is on the tender until start every morning.
Green light, as strong as a 12 Ah battery can be.

If any of you have a Fluke meter 88 . try this, check the battery voltage drop @ crank - set meter to read battery dc volts place meter to record max-min if the battery voltage drops to 50 % of the battery rated voltage this may cause a ECM to log ramdom events.

Now this is weird. Started the bike this evening. Temperatures were at freezing. The LF and CEL came on AFTER THE ENGINE WARMED UP! Weirder still, once I accelerated onto the highway, they both went out.

So much for my pattern...

I think it's a software thing.
Didn't happen to me until I got the 09 IC.
Seems like it is looking for a different, more precise set of values to see from one or more sensors.
If the input is out of range - error.
When it falls back into range - no error.

Then, when you're low on fuel, LF but not CEL. My 2¢

This problem has just started to surface on my 09 1125R, it is on a battery tender 24/7 when not being ridden. Like other owners the CEL and low fuel lamp are coming on during low ambient air temp start up and go off as the CT cold clears from the IC. DTC B1005 is posted which is fuel sensor open/high. Measuring the fuel sensor resistance in the cold condition shows a resistance at about 1800 ohms. The diag manual states resistance should be between 800 and 1200 ohms. When the engine is warmed up and the CEL and LFL go out the sensor resistance is about 1150 ohms. The bike is going to the dealer's for their diagnostic test this weekend. As far as I am concerned although I love the bike as much as ny Firebolt this is a "fit for purpose" issue on a bike than is less than 8 weeks old/100 miles old and I am not happy.
The diag manual suggests that the fuel pump /sensor assy needs to be replaced. I will keep everyone informed.
