Whats happened Rocket??? There is no intelligence from you in this thread. You have to crap on someones parade with your pissant minute details to inflate your ego. Perhaps, in some mundane thread, your point about the lateness of the release deserves merit. But not here. Grow up!! Ah, actually I've not rained on anyone's parade. I observed this thread and its subject matter and recognised, intelligently so, it would be a good place to point out there are some who continuously year in year out rain on every other manufacturers parade by calling their launch dates into question. Buell are no different in this respect to anyone else. No big deal. I just didn't want it to go unnoticed next time someone comments on the RC8 or 1098R being late to launch (for example). So the time was now to point out the obvious, just in case anyone got blind sided by the launch of the stunningly beautiful 1125. Hey it's only fair. Rocket | ||

Since the US Buell website on the 1125r page clearly states "Available later this year", and the UK website does not have a date on it, I do not see where they have failed to produce. | ||

Darkice, I didn't realize how much the blue color changed in the light. When the blue lights up it really changes the look; both ways look good, it's just different. Waaah, I want mine!!! | ||

The bike looks great and the blue looks much better that other pics show. And at least you got to ride yours. Here in PA we just got 4 inches of snow today, and then at about 6 PM I got a call from the dealer to tell me mine came today. I'll just have to hope for some warm weather. | ||

No smokey burn out? No problem.... Just go buy a smoke bomb and light it next to the bike, hop on the seat and have someone snap a pic. Make sure you give us the 3% hand signal and make a face like you are in the middle of a short stroke or need more fiber in you diet.....  | ||

Hey DARKICE - Hope you were riding and not at the mall last night. Omaha's in rough shape today. Z What happened at Westrodes was terrible. I called my mom first off because she shops there all the time and during the holidays its so packed you cant move. Our wallmart is the same way. Several stabbings and some lady walking out got hit with a Dart. I wont let my wife go there if im not with her. Might be time to start carrying my Kimber 1911. | ||

Don't be so hard on Roctetman. He's been deprived of his chance to ride an 1125R. I'm sure we would all be sore if if we keep reading about people riding this awesome new bike on another continent and there was no way to ride it here. Thanks Matt, but I've filled my boots in recent years and ridden all the bikes I've wanted too. The 1125 will wait. I already know it won't impress as it's not the kind of bike on my wish list. I saw the 1125R today at Ukes in Kenosha and it even looked better than it did when I first saw one at Road America in July. Congrats to Erik and the team for this motorcycle!!! This will help me stay away from the Ducati booth at IMS in Chicago this year. The only thing at the Ducati booth last year was the girl passing-out the Ducati booklets. She was far better looking than any motorcycle they had there. |
