Thanks for this forum! Will the factory build enough 1125r bikes for everyone who wants one? Please assure us that there will not be a "limited edition" run or shortage. Also, when will they be in the dealers? | ||

Job 1 is October 15th. So given shipping time, etc. you are looking at late this year. I have no idea what would constitute a shortage, other than the fact that I DON'T HAVE ONE NOW (WAAAH). There is no artificial limited production set, but we are a small company, so there won't be tens of thousands right away, that's for sure! | ||

Job 1 represents the first standard production build. There is a significant "validation" build that's already started. | ||

"Validation" builds are used to set up, adjust and calibrate tooling and make certain that processes at each station on the assembly line are working as envisioned. The bikes built during this period will be used, generally, for internal use. The "Job 1" is the first bike built for commercial sale. Hope that adds some clarity. | ||

aww damn, i was hoping sooner than that. guess i will have to keep waiting. guess i will just have to play with my 9R, and the 12R im picking up this weekend until my 1125 gets here. although we did get our first white and blue 12R at work today!!! so on the same subject, how do you decide what dealers gets them first. i about had a heart attack when my GM said that he would gladly take 10 if we could get them. | ||

How about one of the Anon's posting a thread listing all the events where a display 1125r is *scheduled* to appear? That may cut down on the flurry of questions, at least for thirty or forty seconds, LOL. Of course, *scheduled* to appear could mean the bike may not make it, since they are being used for testing, etc., and as we all know, things happen to test bikes. (I'm assuming there isn't a dedicated Show Mule(s)...or is/are there?). Personally....I *LOVE* the fact that people are hammering to find where these bikes are going to be!!! | ||

Heres a question related to availability- is Buell planning on matching a bike for every deposit? I've called 3 people so far and I've been waiting for a response, maybe Anony could shed some light with any knowledge about that topic...unless I missed a similar question in a different thread. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks! | ||
