i just wanna know when i can pick mine up... i keep hearing late september october november december. blah blah blah. i dont know what im gonna do. i got a chub hearing that thing run at laguna seca. i pray to god for patience and he makes me wait for this lol. |

I just spoke with the local HD/Buell dealer regarding how many and when they were expecting the 1125R in their showroom. The salesman I purchased my last Buell from said they didn't show any coming in; I asked why they didn't order any in and his statement was " they allocate what we get and the only thing we can change is the color". He did ask I call back Monday after he speaks with his GM. What's going on folks, after all, this dealership touts itself as the largest HD dealer blah, blah, blah...
Court, is this indeed the way HD distributes their products? |

Asym, as far as I know there is a dealer allcation from HD. I am not sure how the allocation is arrived at or if the dealer ship has any input. |

I am sure there are more Badwebbers that have a better idea of how HD arrives at the allocations.
I put a deposit down on the bike Wednesday after the announcement weekend, so I KNOW it was new to the dealership, but the finance mgr (who took my deposit) was "I think we should probably get 2-3 1125r's". I could tell he was pulling that out of his a$$, since I had to show him around the 1125r minisite,as he hadn't even taken the time to look the bike up. |

Hey guys- as far as I know, we won't know delivery times until 2nd phase H-D/Buell inventory production schedules are finalized.
Unfortunately at this time this is our best information- "They are coming in Nov/Dec 08." |

I am sorry, but your salesman is mistaken. We announced at the dealer show and in literature to the dealers that we were starting full production in mid October. So deliveries will be behind that. It will be worth it, though.
He must have thought it was deliveries in mid-October and backed off to what he thought was a production date, or gotten it confused with one of the H-D models that is going into production a little later than normal. You might as well know now so you won't be wondering where your bike is in October. |
