Lost my only key, itching to ride.
can i just jump the "key switch" to hotwire my bike?

made a post in another thread. dont mean to flood you guys but im tryin to hit it tonight!

Well, that is all the key switch does. The key is finding the right wire or wires to feed. I doubt its very hard, but I dont really have the time to research,

you dont have to research! im better with electrical issues than mechanical, i know the two wires for sure that go to the "key switch" i was more curious if i had to jump anything to the "system relay"
i assume this has something to do with the accessory light maybe but im not sure.

I can't be sure, no. Not without looking at the schematic. 4 wires is pretty simple and it will either work or it won't. The Blast doesn't have an ECM or an anti-theft device (other than the key), so there isn't much worry unless you connect the power to a ground.
There might be an even simpler way than going through the ignition, but I cant say without looking.
Usually a locksmith can make you a key if you take the switch off and bring the bike registration. (They could do it on the bike, but that costs more I'd think).

well shit i was kinda worried about damaging a relay. if its a non issue ill just try it. if it goes well...even if it doesnt ill be letting you guys know the results lol
