I just bought a 2001 Blast and it shifts much better than my girlfriend's 2008. The clutch cable and ramp as well as the primary chain are adjusted correctly on both bikes.

I have read about doing a shift pawl adjustment to improve shifting, but need detailed instructions (preferably with photos) on how to preform this. I'm sure it must be on this site somewhere but haven't been able to find it.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.
