SO i started my blast up today and forgot to put up the kickstand, so it died, of course. After that, It wont start. Havent had the time to get into it yet, so I havent been able to check anything out yet, but wondering if the safety switch for the kickstand is to blame. THoughts? And.... How could I check this?

Jump the 2 wires going down to the kickstand together to bypass.

ok, it turned out to be a problem with the boot, bike runs. New question though: I have done EZ's air box mod and changed the slow jet to a 45 and that was it. I noticed a flat spot in the throttle up through the first half of the rpm range. I wasnt sure if it was that the lower end was suffering or if the top end just got that much better that there was that much difference. SO... I shimmed the needle to .05" with a couple of brass washers and now it seems like I have a REALY dead zone in the low end and the bike opens up at maybe the top 1/3 of the rpm range. WHY? I do not have access to a dyno to run the numbers or a place to really time the bike to see if it is faster. The bike has always been a little laggy of the line, but now it is pretty bad. Is it possibly getting TOO much fuel now? Why the big dead spot? To recap, i have done ez's air box mod, changed my jets to 45/170 and shimmed the needle to .05" HELP?!?

ps. the boot is fine
