It weighs 15LBS, It does nothing for the power of the engine & it sounds like a lawnmower. On the + side: It looks good and it is fairly durable. The easiest mods for more power involve carb rejet, airbox/airfilter changes & an aftermarket pipe. (Just my 2 cents worth)

Because of it's "WEIGHT" and you have to know how to "TUNE" it !!!

"i" hate repacking HIGH $$$.$$ mufflers when my OEM "PRODUCT IMPROVED" does the job for me ...

"i" have a "REVERSE CONE MEGAPHONE" expansion chamber if "i" want performance and MAKE NOISE !!!

Titusand:

There are two kinds of BLASTERS, buyers of parts and tuners of parts !!!

Make an opening(muffler) the same size as on the right rear as the left rear ...

Put on exhaust wrap from the header to the muffler ...

If you want to tune for top end put a larger header pipe from head to muffler, other wise leave it the OEM size which works best where you ride every day(RPM range) ...

Thats good advice and added to that suggested list for stock improvements, to inexpensively upgrade the bike, though the header replacement would mean either knowing how to weld, or knowing/finding a welder who will take the job.

Can anybody scan and email me a Blast exhaust mounting diagram? I was tying to help a friend put a stock one on(has a Kerker now) and it seems like we are missing some sort of spacer or block in the rear.
