'Ladies', here's your thread. I can change the title to whatever you would like it to be (discuss it amongst yourselves).

themagster is also accounted for.

You boys may look all you'd like, but keep your posts to yourselves. You know the drill...look but don't touch!

I also wear a Joe Rocket jacket with full armor, different types of gloves depending on the weather, though I prefer my Frank Thomas ones. I have 2 helmets, one is a nolan full face and the other is a half helmet. Last but not least, always a good pair of comfy (if there is such a thing as comfy) riding boots. I love Red Wings! During the winter nothing beats a good set of thermals, Patagonia makes some really good ones that aren't bulky under your other clothes. I'm still looking for raingear if any one can steer me in the right direction.

My jacket is also a Cloe in mesh white. Gloves are tricky, I tried and bought 3 pairs (that I can't wear) before I finally found some that work for me. They're like a good pair of running shoes, you'll try several before you find some that are the right fit for you.

seems like the Joe Rocket cleo is quite popular here! LOL

I tried the joe rocket atomic 2.0 gloves size small for men and they fitted fine, I was just trying to get them for less than the $35-40 I see everywhere, no luck yet so I might have to bit the bullet...: (
my hands are like a kid's hand, still somehow chubby with short little fingers that my hubby lovingly calls " my little sausages"...LOL so it has been easier to find in the men's since the ladies gloves have the more delicate female in mind I think....LOL
it has been the same with most of the gear, ladies out there that are like 5'6" and size 6 to 10 will easily find gear that fits good but a little chubby shorty like me that wears a size 14, it gets tricky : ) I tried on some XL that were not EVEN close to fit, I mean both sides of the jacket were like 10" inches apart, no way the zippers were going to meet anytime soon!! LOL but I could have been tying up the sleeves together without a problem!
for my defense, I have to say that I am diabetic so its not like I can go on a very strict diet and lose 50 lbs in a month...: (

I did find the fieldsheer to be true to size and the Power Trip are also fitting like an XL is suppose to fit.

anybody else having the same issues?!

Kscanuck785-The ones I bought for summer are "Qui". They're suppose to help with your hands going numb but still not sure if I like em. I'm not sure what the other pair was, no tags. I'm very lanky with long arms and long fingers so if I find a jacket or gloves that are snug enough they're to short. I bought a large jacket that is a little loose but at least the arms are long enough. As far as gloves go, I've been wearing my fingerless a lot since its warmed up.

how funny, I bought the Joe Rocket Trixie leather jacket in XL, was a little tight but the arms were at least 2" TOO LONG!
I sold it since then : )

Saturday my husband and I went for 250 mile round trip ride. So far that has been my longest ride. The blast did awesome except for the stock seat. Towards the end of our ride my rear end started to get a little sore. If I plan to continue to take long trips (which I do) I'm going to have to look at getting a better seat. Today we're changing the oil and going out again, who knows where and how far!

I also wear a Joe Rocket jacket ... not mesh though. It is one of the Ballistic ones. I personally love it as it protects well. I also wear some Joe Rocket pants as overpants (they weren't designed for it, but works well for me. I wear various brands of gloves.

Erin - I hear you on your rear getting sore. We did about 650 miles this past weekend as part of a group ride and I'm so sore in many places, not just the rear. I do have a custom seat which really helped. How long have you been riding?

I started riding last July but haven't rode for any distance until this spring. I hate the cold so I did'nt ride much over the winter. Now that its warm I want to ride all the time! My seat is new so hopefully once I get it broke in and get used to riding for long periods of time the soreness will ease up. I was actually surprised that it was only my rear that was sore, I was sure my back would be but it was'nt thank goodness.
Crispy-What seat do you have and how long have you been riding?
How long have all of you gals been riding?

Well, I have three seats for my blast. I have a stock low seat, stock high seat, and a custom seat made by Rich's. My husband picked it up from someone on the board. So far the custom one is much more comfortable than the others.

I've been riding since July 2007, so just a tiny bit longer than you.

got my Ninja last fall, I rode around some this winter by myself, practicing on gravel roads, which I am glad I did now : )
Took my MSF/test in early march this year so I am REALLY a newbie : )
I got my Buell 1st week of April.
I have been "the" passenger for 4 yrs, I was riding to work with my hubby everyday in summer time but we dont work at the same place now. I work about 15-20 miles from our home so this is something I am looking forward this summer : )

I started out with the low seat and having long legs I decided very quickly I needed more leg room so I bought a stock high seat. The high seat made a HUGE improvement on the knees.
Kscanuck785-I had my blast for almost 4 years before I finally got up the guts to learn how to ride it! It took my husband putting it on cycle trader for me to finally sign up and take the MSF course. It was almost sold but had a leaky gasket that made it smoke so the guy backed out. If we had sold it that day I probably would'nt have learned how to ride. Thank God for oil leaks!

Hi everyone! Nice to see this thread!

I am just popping in to say "hi" really quickly. The kiddos aren't in bed yet so I don't have the time to post a long intro. I've posted my intro. somewhere on this site before though... Maybe I'll just copy and paste. LOL!

I'll be back though!
