In looking at the service manual, it looks like there is a screw on the side of the carb (while on the bike) that is labeled "idle adjustment screw". From my reading on the forum, most people seem to refer to the idle adjustment as the primary screw on the bottom of the carb - the one you have to drill the plug out of to access.

Am I missing something?

The one with the plug is the idle mixture adjustment screw (fuel/air). The other is the idle adjustment screw (for engine rpms).

Thanks Erik. The pic in the manual it not the greatest so was not certain exactly what it was pointing at.
