Can anyone provide me any good pointers to the best way to install a 12V cigarette plug so i can run my GPS on my 2009 Blast? I've installed a 12V plug on to my Big Ruckus but wonder what most folks do here for 12 accessory power?

thanks in advance, Ira

Is it possible they have an adapter for an SAE plug the kind a Battery Tender uses? Seems a sturdier plug than the cigarette lighter.
Usually a fused connection directly to the battery is best.
Anyway thats what I've done and secured the plug with a strap and well nut that already exists in the frame down by the tank panel tail.

Nice!
Add a fused Battery Tender hook up (which also works for electric vests) to the battery and your good to go.

Cool...i think i already have the part Evilbetty showed so i just need the battery cable. I think i can just wire-tie the jack to someplace upfront...thanks to all. Just about to take the new 2009 Blast out for its first ride.
