Does anyone have a part number for an aftermarket air filter. Since it's right before the holidays I don't want to spend the $50 for a K&N but still want to pop in a new one when I change the oil this weekend.

I'm using the Walmart SuperTech oil filter and was wondering if there is a SuperTech air filter that fits. I'm just looking to to pay dealership prices for a commodity item.

PS. Not sure I've said it lately but I LOVE my Blast!

Isn't there some aftermaket that fits? Napa, or Fram or some such brand X. I just don't want to pay HD prices for something that shouldn't cost much at all.

The stock one is reusable..it says so right in the manual..all you have to do is clean it up.

I guess technically you could go to Advance Auto Parts and buy a K&N CLeaner kit for $13 and you'd be good to go!

I used the K&N kit for cleaning my Pro-Series as well. Is there supposed to be a replacement element, or am I cool to continue cleaning as I have?

OK. What about some compressed air to blow out the gunk. Is that enough? It's not like I can run it throught the dish washer or somethin'. ...lol

Zane--I did exactly that. Well, not exactly. A bucket of hot water and dishwashing soap.

Zane, dont use high pressure if you decide to blow the gunk out of your k&n filter. you can mess it up. better to use a nylon brush and simple green and gently brush it out, wash it with hot water and simple green and blow out with low press air. then oil and ride.

Well, right now it just has the stock paper filter so a good blowing out might work.
