Had a wierd speedo issue today. I have ridden probably 6 times today for about 10 to 15 miles each. On about the 4th ride, the speedo was acting up. It would go up to about 28, or so, and just stay there no matter how much faster I was going. I pulled off. Shut down, turn key off, turned key on, speedo reset, and I took off. Everything was fine after that. Did I just start it too fast, maybe before it had a time to set, or is this a sign of a speedo about to fail?

Yes, turn on switch first, then the key, wait till gauge sets to 0, then turn on.

I have had some problems with mine in the last couple of weeks. It said I was doing 90 in 3rd gear a few weeks ago. And then I had it up to 70 in first!!! Took it in and they are replacing mine. 7-10 days on parts though....
