I have an 01 Blast w/ a V&H exhaust. I also got an 03 XB9 with a stock exhaust. I'm looking at the spec ops for the XB9. I'm posting here on the off chance that someone out there has experience with both V&H on the blast and spec ops on an xb9. The V&H on the Blast is too much for my ears. How does the spec ops compare?

You want to tone down that V&H? I weld on a Supertrapp 4" tip on works real well! You can adjust to your liking.

Here's a new pic with muffler shortened! So it's not blowing right on the tire one thing i didn't like about the V&H. I put a 1 1/4" hole in the end plate on it now it was to quiet sounded like a quad lol!!!

Thumpe - you info says Dynojet kit 170/45. How have you determined that this is good jetting set up?

I always watch the color of the plug how it burns and I use a fuel catalyst too which promotes a more complete burn. I had a 175 in but the plug was running pretty dark so I drop it to 170 an check it a couple time an it looks good now and with the supertrapp I can watch the disks for color also just like the plug an they looked better also.

I dont believe that DynoJet and stock jet numbers are the same. I believe a DynoJet 175 would be much richer than a stock 175.
