Just thought I'd pop in and say hello! I'm new to bikes and will be learning on my 2003 Blast. It came with a Jet Kit and a V&H pipe. I love it! It is a bit small for my 6'2" frame (my wife says I look like a duck on a june bug) but it will fit the bill of a good starter bike. Who knows, maybe I'll even hold onto it. I'm looking to do a K&N drop in filter and the Dominator lights for the front end, but where have people picked up the flyscreen for use with the dominator headlights? Also, anything I should keep an eye out for as far as problems or maintenance?

Thanks!

Dirk

Stock unit would fit with duals? would it have to be trimmed? will the xbs bolt up without modification?

Soryy, EZ posted that response in the wrong thread.
I dont think the XB duals 'bolt right up'. I believe there may be more work to it than that and it will still be one high beam in one light and one low beam in the other. (but it can be converted).
The Brymars are true dual headlights.
Stock, XB or S1 flyscreens will work, but you'll have to make brackets for the Brymars to bolt up to the stock flyscreen/headlight mount. 2 small pieces of flatbar should do it.

PS Yes I do have the Brymars bolted up!

In order to justify the purchase, how much more light can I expect from the dominator duals over stock?

I cant tell you how much (IE: lumens or candlepower) but it comes with 2 H4 Halogen bulbs and I'm using 2 55+ watt halogens which is at least twice the stock Blast bulb. It'll be brighter than stock definitely, but I'm more concerned with daytime visibility and dont pay much attention to the difference at night.
If you're looking for high power flood lights, these arent it.

I think you answered my question; the stock light is sufficient from what I can tell, so if it is brighter than that, even better! I'm really excited to get riding!
