After rereading the 2006 the word LIfetime occurs nowhere in the manual, so cant fault the gang in 06, they didnt let it slip.
Not a tech, but when I can predict belt failure with in a week, it is a pretty scary situation. Next set of bearings, 6k miles away, I should be there by december

I would like to get more than 4500 out of a set of tires, but then I probably wouldnt get to ride the way I do.

I have never gotten over 2200 miles on the Scorpion Syncs. The only way you could get any more miles then that would to be coasting a lot.

Froggy's front tire lasted so long because it's never on the pavement. I didn't know that air would wear out a tire in only 18,000 miles.

All I want to know is; is the new belt for the 1125 a direct replacement for an '06 X?

Its a different belt than the one on the 1125. What they are talking about is that it uses different materials than the old belt, and they based it on what they learned for making a belt for the 146hp machines. So yea, the 09 belt is a direct replacement. Just to make sure you get the right belt, ask your dealer for a belt for a 09 Uly. That way it will have the part number for the 09, and they dont give you the old Goodyear belt they had sitting on the shelf. : )
