Getting ready for a new ride and have pretty much decided to trade my R1100GS in on a new 08 Uly Just wanted to see what a few actual owners think of the whole Buell experiance, I also own a few other rides including a HD and 1/2 my concern is that Buell/HD dealers care more about the HD side and know nothing or worse yet care nothing about the Buell side. I like the looks of the bike took one out for a test ride Sat. other than a couple small items overall opinion of bike is very favorable. Just looking for a little feed back on what some current owners think |

Just want to say Hello , I traded my 2005 Roadking Custom after many miles [51000] 15k this season, for a 2008 XB12X Managed to break it in, in 2 days can't stop the grin from showing. Many rides still on the calender for the summer, Looking forward to the few Harley rides on my not a Harley [plates still read "SOOEY"] , and to the many new roads on the way. |

Bob: Welcome! . . . you are one of a number of folks who have upgraded from a Harley-Davidson to a Buell. I am the former owner of some Sportsters, Dyna and an FLH, all if which I enjoyed, and I'm thinking about buying and XB12X too. We'll be eager to hear your reports as you and the Buell get to know each other. Be sure to check out the "Big, Bad and Dirty" section here on Badweb for some fun and informative chat. Ride safe, lean much and smile more, Court Canfield |

Hiya from Warrick in London, UK. Ordered a 08 Uly, and cannot wait till it's in. Looking forward to my 90 mile commute for the first time ever....! <edit> I should say that I've spent the last three years doing my commute on a R1150GS ADV, and struggled to stay awake... , however, I can't say that about the mighty GS can I!...) </edit> (Message edited by bigkuri on August 19, 2007) |

I'm a new Buell rider in the DFW area. I've been riding Harleys for several years but just bought a 2003 XB9SL and am having a great time with it! I've ridden it nearly every day since I got it - had to put the dust cover on my road king. |

Thanks for stopping buy and say hello. I agree that track riding is about as much intense and concentrated fun as one can experience on two wheels. |

Hello from Bavaria Germany, just found this forum today. I own my XB12X since May. I'm riding over 30 years. The last 15 on Harleys. Still have my 99. Road King which I love dearly. But I was in the need for some speed. So I added the Buell. Hope to find some good information here. Was in Sturgis and saw just 2 Buells. Poor picture. Ride safe Werner |

A major welcome to all of you and a collective Eureka . . you've found the best place for Buell information, updates and events on the internet. I've been riding Buells for 20 years and it's exciting to see all the new faces that the XB, 1125r and Ulysses are bringing in. We're glad to have you . . . wander around, get comfy and enjoy the company and . . . THE RIDE. Court P.S. - Werner, you'll be pleased to learn there are some very active Buell owners and a number of events in Germany. Welcome! |

Thank you all for the warm welcome. On Wednesday I will go to Austria for European Bike Week. Not as big as Sturgis but the biggest event in Europe. Take the King to go there, but will smile over every Buell I see on my way and down there. Ride safe Werner |

Hello I live in Maryville Tennessee . I don't have a buell yet, but I hope to have one as soon as I sell my Magna and my Zephyr. It had been 10 years since my last ride until march of this year I didn't even know I missed it anymore until I bought the zephyr to save money on GAS. now I am back to my old ways Magazines, hanging around the cycle shops. and a few new via internet and web forums. I have fallen in love with the buell motorcycles. I found this site trying to learn if a Ulysses tail section, and seat could be fit onto an xb12Ss.(My dream bike). I was glad to find such a strong community for these bikes. I should be starting my buell adventures soon with a Blast. |

Howdy from the green mtn state. I'm a daily commuter on my '99 Cyclone. Timmy 2 shoes turned me on to y'all and Jose Q has already given me some support. I killed most of a day off just reading posts and admiring bikes. You guys are killing me with cuell Buells! Any interest in a budget Buell thread? or is that like a joke ?! Heading over to tires next as I need one asap. |

Hello! I just bought the greatest sleeper of them all yesterday. My 07 Ulysses. I'm done with the Ricky racer replica supersports. The funny thing is, I don't think I've slowed down much on my Uly. |
