So one of my buddies has been telling me that his neighbor has a great motorcycle collection . . . yeah, yeah . . . I've heard that before.

Yesterday . . . . we are at our regular "Retirees Support Group" and he tells me . . . the guy is a huge Buell fan and would love to meet you and goes on about the guys cool collection.

Well . . . . I figured I'd go take a look.

Turns out . . . Rich was right . . . Ted has a REALLY nice collection.

Thanks for sharing that Court.

I'm in my first day recovering from bilateral inguinal hernia repair. Having those great photos of so many interesting machines and the time to study them is perfect.

Wow. Two companies that were within 30 miles of me. Shame neither survived, I wonder where their factories were.

The rarest of the lot . . . well, ya wanna take a guess? Hint, they bought it for $400,000.

Also interesting was the Indian carved out of wood. A hobbyists work? . . . . . guess again. . . a lawyers to build the "distinctive look of the Indian" case. They had one of the Kawasaki unit that was stopped as a result of that action.

Read more about it here . . . http://www.indianchiefmotorcycles.com/currentline. htm

Yep . . at one time . . even a tribe of Indians tried to claim the Indian name.

Take a crack at the $400,000 bike.

Tough one Court, I'm not going to cheat either.
My guess is the Pope or the Thor. Both very rare. They Dayton has to be at the top of the pile too though..

Neat list. Now I have some research to do...
I've never even heard of an Iver Johnson!
