My daughter went in this morning to have a baby! I have three Granddaughters and this will be my first Grandson! I see fishing trips and motorcycle riding out on to the horizon!(Not that I don't do these things with the girls) |

That is very cool. Somehow, though, I'm a little disturbed at the thought of you as "Grand Pa". |

Congrats! Since my kids are still so young (the oldest is 14) I still dread the day I become a grandfather, but I also look forward to it. (I know that's not logical! Don't look at me like that!) |

Somehow, though, I'm a little disturbed at the thought of you as "Grand Pa". Aren't you called "Dad"......oh, did I say that out loud? |

Aren't you called "Dad"......oh, did I say that out loud? Equally disturbing, but alas there are no minimum requirements to procreate. |

My daughter had a kid last May. I don't mind being a "grandpa" as much as I do the thought that I'm now sleeping with a "grandma". |

Equally disturbing, but alas there are no minimum requirements to procreate. Uhhh.....yes there are. Starting with I had to catch her. And as a Scout I had learned to tie knots etc. Being a Grand parent is more fun actually. Like having kids without all of that nagging responsibility for their well being stuff. Thanks everybody (except mebby Jeremy)! |

Jeremy is harmless. He just doesn't want anyone to know, so don't tell, OK? |

Uhhh.....yes there are. Starting with I had to catch her. And as a Scout I had learned to tie knots etc. I just dug a pit. She fell in and lacked the strength to get out. I don't think there are as many "Grand Pa's" who haul a$$ on a screaming orange terror. I hope to be that guy as well. |

Well, he came screaming into this world about 6:00pm Eastern time on the 10th. 7lbs, 15oz, 22 inches. He and the new mom are doing fine and should be home this evening. |

Congrats, Pappy Vern!! Here's to your new little stinker (by proxy). Go try to find one of those little wind-up drag bikes (Evel Knievel?)- that'll plant the bike bug early. Gimme a shout when you're heading to Mur-vil and I'll buy you a cold one! |

Grandma rode the Dragon Saturday!!! With all of the LEO presence, with the reduced speeds, she finally rode her Blast on the Dragon. An accomplishment that earned her a T-shirt, a sticker, and a hug! Funny thing was, the guys that came over and looked at her bike and talked to her at length about her V&H header and K&N filter kit. While she was talking to them another couple came over and said "see, it is a Blast!" She was so proud! The grandson got his first Dragon T-shirt too! |

Wow Vern!! Congratulations!! Four of'em must make you really old. I've just got two. But at least one of them is old enough to try and catch mud turkles!! I'm in the odd situation of having a youngun and grandkids who are close enough to play with each other. Had them up in the wild woolies for a couple of days this week; they caught crawdads and red eyes!! They're a laugh a minute!!!Have fun!! Somehow I know you will. Rotzaruck!!! |
