Have a happy Canadian Thanksgiving my Badweb brethren. Hopefully I will be able to get out on the holiday and twist the wrist. So when I'm about to chow down on my turkey, I will give thanks to the badweb. The largest, best(slightly disfunctional) family one could want. Peace brothers far and wide. |

Holy Kwap! . . .where did the time go? I missed Halloween (not to mention the entire month of October) and half of November. At least they haven't put holiday display obnoxiousness up yet . . .and I have to wonder why they are so late this year? Oh . . .Canadian Thanksgiving . . .nevermind. You folks at the higher latitudes must have to celebrate early because your harvest is in early and by November the turkeys are all frozen? BTW . . I just finished driving through your wonderful landscape for the first time and I was favorably impressed . . .even though the Canadian border guard was a little surly (snarly too!), I could never figure out how much diesel fuel was costing me until the credit card statement arrived (CAN$/per liter and the exchange rate thing) and I never really knew how many KPH I was going. BC was spectacular, Alberta was scenic (except for the western part) . . .and YT was full of road crossing wildlife. A happy thanksgiving to you and your countrypersons as well! . . .and I was very much impressed with the friendliness, honesty and openness of all the Canadians I met . . .save the afore mentioned Border Security Snarly . . .even the teens were a pleasure to talk with. On side note . . .I am still having occasional headaches and moments of disorientation after discovering (the hard way) what this sign means . . .along with all its accompanying little red flags along side the roadway. The good news is that the dent in the roof of my cab (pushed up from the inside) will be easy to fix if I chose to put in a sunroof . . .

Funny that Don. I only ever really have problems returning to Canada, not getting into the states. |
