Can we change out username and keep all other pertinent info including total posts? The reason being is when I signed up I chose his&hers as my username and it was automatically changed to hishers as I guess the ampersand is not valid. I am now known as His_and_Her_Buells on every other forum that I am on and would just like to keep things consistent. |

No. Currently as BadWeB stands, when you change your username you will start fresh, meaning 0 post. |

Been discussed in the past. Best/easiest way is to just start a new account/membership and kill off the old one once you know the new one is how you want it. And you've got less than 100 posts, you can be back up to that level in no time. It's good to purge once in awhile. ps, I'm not Glitch and have never seen him on TV. |

It's been asked for before, and I looked into it. It's a lot of work, with questionable results, as in we'd rather not. You can however create a new user, let me know the new name, and I'll edit your profile to keep your post count right. Once that's taken care of, I can disable your old account. Sorry, if that sounds like a lot to do, but, it's the best I can offer. |

when I first signed up and saw how it handled the username I tried to sign up with a different one but it wouldn't let me. I just figured it was because I was at the same ISP address. Is this the case? Will I have to sign up on my work computer to get around that? thanks |

Hishers, You wouldn't be the guy with the gal who had the plates on their bikes as "His" and "Hers" would ya? No, and I know the bike you're talking about, saw 'em at Homecoming this year. Your not the first to ask me that either. |

I'll edit your profile to keep your post count right. Glitch - you've got to share that with me. In the past when this has come up, I was under the impression that they started again with 0. Hishers - sorry for giving you the wrong info. |

Set up a temporary yahoo email account, then switch your current user parameters to direct to the new account, then wait a day or three (or 30 seconds or more or less), then re-try the new user name with your preferred email, then if it works wait a week to kill off the old id, then either close or ignore the new yahoo email address or just use it as your craigslist/ebay/spammer email account. Sometimes you just have to play the game the way the game wants you to play but still find a way to get it to do what you want it to do. The shortest distance between two points is sometimes a convoluted path. And be thankfull, we didn't used to be able to even change our email addresses. I have a hard enough time keeping track of one account. I can set up a sub-account with my current email. I'll try that later. |

In gmail you can route emails from one gmail address to your main account. |

Call it a post-it note account. Put the new user name and password on a postit note and stick it on your desktop. By the time the postit note disappears you should have it all sorted out, and someone down the hall will be wondering who HisHershies@yahoo.com is with a password of buellbag9 when they find the postit stuck to the back side of a file folder. |

That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on. Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide; it's a killer! He'll do you up a treat mate!... I'm warning you! .... He's got huge, sharp-- eh-- he can leap about-- look at the bones! Timeless, dont make the bunny mad ;P

Hey Glitch, Everyone thinks my BadWeB name is Thespive, argh. So are you saying that if I start a new account as, let's say Spive, that you can transfer all my info, profile, post count, etc. to the new name? If this is the case, sign me up! --Sean |
