Does ANYONE know IF... you can use Automotive plug wires on our BUELLS...??? I am having a HELL of a time finding any COLORED wires... (RED) for my buell. Cant find them on ANY of our sponsors sites. Thanks, Matt. |

I've gone to an automotive speed shop who carried Jacobs Electronics Energy Core plug wires in bulk and they made up a set by duplicating the ones from my 96 S1. Very reasonable, around $20 I think. I had a choice of black or blue, no red though, sorry. Perks are they really work great transferring a lot of spark energy, are waterproof and don't produce radio interference. |

I made my own set out of MSD 8mm wires. Had to pry open the X1 coil terminals and re-crimp them on the MSD wires as they are smaller than standard old school automotive terminals. |
