Hi, Just in case anyone is interested, I rebuilt the forks on my S3T today. Not just the seals but a complete tear down and cleaning. Thought I'd share few pictures. Some of the images didn't turn out due to me being in a hurry and oily, so the sequence isn't correct. Anyway, if you've never seen it done you can't say that anymore. click here -SD: |

Well documented, I wish I had the patience! When I did a rebuild I ended up missing many more photos. |

I always said if I ever did something like this I would take pictures so other(s) would have a better idea what takes place ... well that was way back in 1998 and here I am. <grin> The manual doesn't show how to do a complete rebuild either, only replacing the seals. Total time was about 5 hours including clean up and a break for lunch.
