I am about to install a new map that Al provided. I am using the stock ecm, do I need to do the tps reset? Is there anything I should do before pushing the remap thru? Thanks |

No, you don't need to do the TPS reset if it was set right before. The cautions that pop up on the screen taht TR programmed in are more for when you're actually developing the map. If the TPS is properly set, if the AFV isn't correct, or if the O2 sensor isn't disconnected, you could waste a lot of mapping time. Al |

Thanks Al. I am the one who bought this for my 06 xb12r a couple of weeks ago. So there isnt anything else I need to do or make sure is done before i push this thru? Other than disconnect the o2 sensor. Thanks Duncan |

Duncan, You do not need to disconnect the o2 sensor to push a map through. That is for when you are developing the map. |

what eric said. You can disregard that little popup when all you are doing is pushing in a map. AL |

If you see it in the description it is in there. If it's raining out now would be a good time to get familiar with the TPS and A/F reset procedure.
