Hello, my name is Dave (everyone in unison "Hello, Dave"). Joking aside I am new to the forum. I own a 2005 Drz400 Supermoto. Its a fun bike, but a little too fun. The cops in my town are starting to become very "close" with me and my bike. So I am thinking about getting a Buell (against my fathers wishes, he has never liked Harleys). I still have a while to decide what I want to get. I volunteered to go over seas to Bahrain for the US Coast Guard. I really like the XB12SCG or the Ulysses. I'm kinda leaning towards the Ulysses. I am also deciding whether or not to keep my supermoto or not. We will see. Just wanted to say hello. | ||

Welcome Dave! You will find some of the best people to ever walk the earth here. It's a great community. The SCG and Uly are about as far apart on the spectrum as you can get. Your dimensions will probably determine which one is a better fit. I don't think that one would be comfortable on both. One will fit. One won't. Thank you for your service. We are honored to have yet another servicemen join our ranks. I'm not a Harley fan, either. I love my Buell and will probably have one for the rest of my life. Have your dad test ride one, and I'll bet he will become a Buell fan in spite of the HD connection. You have picked the best place to get opinions about Buells. There are some of the most knowledgeable motorcyclist and, in particular, Buell riders anywhere on the planet. Welcome! | ||
