There is one thing that I don't understand about how Homecoming is set up. Some will already be at the track racing the weekend. We will already have paid to get into the Track for the races. I wonder if Buell expects us to pay extra to get into the Courtesy area? My Wife and Son will be with me and I don't know how to handle the situation. One real problem is who in the hell do you contact to find the information out!!?? I registered on the Buell Web site, but now what? (Message edited by rocketsprink on April 25, 2007) We won't be attending any of the other Buell Events for the weekend. (Message edited by rocketsprink on April 25, 2007) |

Rocket, if you reserved and you pay to get into the track, the Buell tent is complimentary. I believe there's free parking too. (Message edited by buellinachinashop on April 26, 2007) |

Boy, I sure hope that as the time draws near, more people will show up than listed above. Will be pretty lame if that's all! I'm thinking this will be a Homecoming Buell fans won't want to miss for a multitude of reasons. I wonder if Erik's band is the "live entertainment" for Saturday night at the races?? |

Well, now think about it for a minute as well. This homecoming is quite late, compared to the previous ones. Usually, Buell ramps up production for the next model year the Monday after homecoming. They CAN'T do that this year. Since the dealer meeting is July 9th. Buell will most likely be producing the '08s while we're taking the tours. We'll get to see 'em before anyone else Bud, Toni and I are still working on some hotels that are more "local" to the Milwaukee area. Prices still ain't "cheap". But they will be cheaper than if you just walked off the street. We'll post more info after I talk with the people at Hals. |

I'm in but just the Saturday night events since I'm planning on racing on Friday and Saturday. I wanted to be able to go to the Saturday night get-together since I'll already be at Road America. I've attended several Homecomings and wanted to be a part of some of this years' events. I better get hot and get some posters printed, maybe someone will want an autographed one!! |

Buell will most likely be producing the '08s while we're taking the tours That doesn't necessarily mean they'll be letting the cat out of the bag. They have several production buildings don't they? The tour may only include the Uly production facility or something - just speculating... PS) what's the verdict on Milwaukee area hotels?? (Message edited by naustin on April 30, 2007) |

the production all happens in one building, on one production line. If you've never been there you'll really enjoy the tour of the plant. |

I'd save the $$ on the posters Ralph. Although we are supposed to be the privateer/grass roots racers Buell talks about, I don't think we'll be included in the autograph session. We could always exchange signed photo's with each other though! |

From Racine the Drag Strip,Ukes HD and Buell and The Boiler Room are within 15 minutes apart from one another and the Hotels I listed above. Hal's in New Berlin and the Buell Factory are about 40-45 minutes away from Racine. The Race track for Saturday and Sunday is about a 1 hour 15 min ride. In the evening there is plenty of great places to eat as Steve Mackay has a great one planned for Friday with Court. Here is a map of the area.

"Happy Hour"? Isn't that the time everyone gets on their bike and rides on the track as fast as they can? (Oh that's cab racing....(nascar)..) |

Dana, Im sure you thought of this and it really shouldnt be a problem, but Hwy 11 is closed for a few miles between Union Grove and Burlington, supposedly for the entire summer. Again, not a big deal, I would assume people would be taking the twisties between destinations anyway. |
