I imagine that kid is already dead. How long has Johnny Carson been dead AND off the air? |

Tell you what, I would much rather play with someone who can keep a steady beat than play with some young hothead who can hit every drum in under 1.5 seconds but can't count to four more than two times in a row. Just having fast wrists does not a great drummer make. |

+1 He was still good. Better, than I'll ever be. I need to learn plenty. Is it just me or was watching Stevie Wonder play the drums bizarre? Weird as sh1t seeing that. |

Jandj Davis, He's 7 years old. What could you do at 7. I could put a pretty mean Hot Wheel's track together and play a good game of Pong. |

Oh, he has mad skills, I won't deny that. I can't begin to accurately move my limbs that fast. However, I have much more respect for a drummer who can put together a crazy beat WITH A METRONOME more than a drummer who can flail on all of the drums with no regard to meter or time. Drum solos to music are much harder to do, in my opinion, because you have to be just as inventive but in a smaller cage. |
