This is suppose to be a great one. 25 year anniversary to boot right?? Well they announced the races, tour, and ????? What about a place to stay. I would think everyone would like to stay at a place that won't break the bank and everyone is together. We've always had a dinner/banquet or a cookout. Guest speaker would be nice. Hey Court ya with me?? It's April for crying out loud, things should be in the put together stages by now. People have to put in for vacations and such not at the last minute. |

I know I'm new and everything but did everyone like what Dave did last year for homecoming? If so, I could see about things this season... |

I thought next year was the 25th Anniversary. That would only make sense because the 20th was in 2003. |

We had the 20th Anniversary in 2003. Next year is the 25th.It's going to be one hell of a party! (I'm even going to get my Pegasus tattoo re-colored). However, this year's Homecoming will still be a Good Time. Probably a Great Time! I hope more information is coming soon. I don't know if I'm camping, or staying in a hotel (are any rooms available?); what activities are planned, or any other details. (Is there going to be a pancake breakfast? Should I bring a gallon of Vermont Maple Syrup?) One thing that I do know is that whenever a big group of Buellers get together, everyone has fun. |

Well I'd like to see Steve get something going at Hal's. Doe's anyone have any objection's to staying in Racine. Hop and a skip to the factory,Hal,s and Road America an hour and 15 minutes. I could maybe get a dinner going possibly and maybe a get together at the Boiler Room. Let me know I'd like to get things rolling. If not I'll just let the cards fall where they fall. |

Racine sounds good to me. I'd like to stay near where the Action is. For the 20th, I stayed up in Brown Deer with friends, and missed out on a lot that was going on at the motel in Racine. I'd like to be a little closer to everybody, this time. |

Crusty, right next door to my bar is the most state of the art tattoo parlor in the state. They are very very good. Athough I would pick a better motel then the last time. I know it did the job but I think we could do better. I hope I get the interest....the 20th was one of the memorable Buell events in Buell history. It made great friendships. |

There are also a *TON* of Hotels right down the road from Hals as well. Easy access to I94, and yet can still have a decently twisty ride out to the factory. I can also plan out a decent route up to Road America from there quite easily. Part of the problem with planning, at this stage, is everything at the factory is *NOT* set in stone yet. I believe Hals is waiting on Buell to finish up their plans. I'll stop in and talk with Budc at Hals tonight and get an update. I know Hals has some type of plans in the works, but like I said, nothing is set in stone at the moment with them, or Buell. But one thing I do know, is we'd like to do a ride out to Union Grove on late Thursday afternoon to hit the Haley drags. Do some "fun runs", and watch our own Fiery do some bracket racing. And I wont let Court forget about our Jimmy's Grotto run on Friday night for some Ponza Rottas |

Steve that was one of the reason I said Racine. Great Lakes right down the road you guys are close as well. I have something else brewing but not just sure yet. |

Have you guys considered the AmericInn (sp?) on Hwy 36 in Burlington? Theres also a Baymont and another one about 3 miles north on 36 in Waterford. Pretty centrally located between Racine, Great Lakes Dragaway, The Buell Factory and Hals. |

Chuck you are correct and also some great Rustic roads in the area. I have family in Waterford. Only thing with that is finding a place with a banquet room for a dinner. |

You all may as well start planning. Don't bank on Buell doing it. As far as I'm concerned, they rank right up there with BRAG in the "let's wait till the last minute" category. |

It would be nice if we all stayed relatively close to one another to more easily facilitate group activities, etc. |

Rick that can be done without problem. I'd like to put a block on some rooms at a discount rate for this event. I just need some kind of consensus |

I would think that the Baymont would have a banquet room, if you guys stayed there, otherwise theres the new River City Lanes, while I havent been there, they do list a banquet hall. and again, right on Hwy 36 (well, 1 block off but can be seen fron 36. I hope you guys dont think Im being pushy, just trying to help find someplace central to everything for everybody. And, as you have said, some nice raods in the area. I have wednesday the 4th off from work for the holiday, and I took vacation on the the 5th and 6th. However, I don't know yet if I'm going to come. Its one solid days ride for me to East Troy, but I've never been to homecoming before, and I'm really not sure if I want to ride up to Elkhart Lake. A lot of guys around here seem to know each other and have made independent plans. I don't want to end up in some hotel all by myself, or just show up and bank on crashing somebody else's personal party. It be nice if there was a little more information about what is happening when and where. |

http://www.ccsracing.com/schedules/2007/mamwse/RD% 20AM%20July%20SCHEDULE.pdf I won't make the "Tour" this year or any of the other get together's (if there are any) Maybe the Thursday night Drags. Racing is all weekend. If I were you people, I'd plan on attending if possible. Racing will be second to none. Plenty of Buells on and at the Track. Maybe the "new "bike? It will be a great time. But don't rely on others to find a place to stay (Hotel) Start looking and booking now. My hotel will be my trailer at Road America. |

>>>And I wont let Court forget about our Jimmy's Grotto run on Friday night for some Ponza Rottas Steve: Drop me a note with your phone number. It's obvious we're going to have to take things in our own hands. I think you and I can "finish" arrangments with a 10 minute call. This is going to be a fun year. . . Crusty . . get the syrup.

I'm aware Hal's was planning on something. I had talked to Steve last month about it, I just hadn't heard any updates. I had no intention on stepping on anyones toes. Andy |

Andy -- from what is available to the masses, there are no toes upon which to step -- seems to me that the firstest one to issue an invitation has dibs, yes? Just ask yourself "WWDD?" (what would Dave Do ;-} ) |

Seeing as how I was the one to conjure up that phrase...trust in Dave and all of his "Daveness", I ask myself WWDD DAILY lol. However, Hal's was first to put the word out therefore, I think it would be inappropriate of me to try and host something as well. Besides, everyone at 1 place = a greater time rather then people at 2 places = just a good time Plus, how else am I supposed to be able to meet everyone? |
