I didn't get to go to Daytona this year (grumble, grumble), and because I'm starting a new job this week, I won't be able to get to March Badness IV (more grumbling). However, my wife and I are planning to go to Homecoming this July. Are there many folks who are going to make it? Is there a central motel? I think I remember someone saying that rooms were scarce; should I plan to camp? Besides the races at Road America and the Factory tours, what else will be happening? Will the demo fleet be available? Is there going to be a Battletrax? Hopefully, it will be a good take. (If not, next year is going to be a Kick Ass party for the 25th!) |

Crusty we still need to get hotel/motel situated... but will you can count on it. The reason hotel in the area of the track is scarce is that its a Holiday weekend and being its a resort area and alot of festivities going on like fireworks that are a huge up there for some reason the hotel's and such are booked. I thought of doing something with hotel in my area again but haven't got much feedback so I'm up in the air. |

Never too early. I'll be racing that weekend at Road America along with a lot of other Buells. Yep. I switched from the Duc to a Buell for racing. Really looking forward to it too! |

May I ask how many people/bikes show up for this event? Is it the largest Buell congregation in the country? |

Court, do you have some sort of Pancake fetish? You got somethin' against pancakes, buddy? They make for a pretty damn good breakfast; especially when served with warm Vermont Maple syrup. |

This is coming together nicely . . . I'm just feeling the need to change from refried beans and okra. |

If pancakes are involved, and you are in the midwest, I suggest: http://www.funksmaplesirup.com/ I mean, it's geographically appropriate, it's really really really good, and how can you NOT buy the stuff from Funk's Grove? ya know? |

If the Okra were fried, that actually wouldn't be bad . . . if it were steamed, I'd have little/no interest. Look . . in my world, you take about anything, roll it in bread crumbs and toss it in boiling fat . . . well, it's like an culinary cleavage . . ya immediately get my attention. |

Court, besides the information on hotels that I mentioned to you, I'd like to see a group ride as I've heard there has been no formal ride on past HC's. Battletrax would be cool. How about a ride down to the Harley factory and do some burnouts and wheelies in the parking lot. Since it's the weekend of the 4th, how about a cookout? I know, how about a t-shirt to make up for the one I didn't get at the IMS |

im thinking about going this year.. never been to a Buell event. What should i expect besides lots of fun??? Do you need to sign up in advance or just show up? Is it Buell only?? Because i have friends who ride I4 who thought about getting a Buell that would go, perfect way to have them jump on board!!!! BTW, all last year i saw 2 other Buells besides mine in my home town all year.....this year already and ive seen 5!!!! Things are looking good!!!!!! |

Never had to sign up before. Don't think that will change. Everyone is Welcomed. Saw "Other" makes last year at the Factory get together. Don't know how they'll handle the Tour of the Plant end of it. I believe you had to show a BRAG Card to get in. That ain't happenin' any more! The races at Road America should be great this year. I still like the idea of doing it during a Club Event rather than an AMA. The racing is just as exciting. People, riders, crews are easily accessible. Up close and personal. No 'Velvet Rope" crap. Timing isn't the greatest do to the 4th of July Holiday and Hotels in the area booking rather fast. BUT that means more riding from a Hotel further from the Track, which is all part of the fun. I'll be running a White Firebolt. Yellow Plates #171. Stop by and say hi!! Should be a good time. |

AMerican -- take a look at the pic above, read the comments about refried beans wrapped in a pancake, and smothered with syrup from Funks Grove, and ask yourself, again, if it'll be fun . . . . . . . the answer will be, as they say, obvious to the most casual of observers btw, can't promise flaming low riders again, this year, but the single malt will be outstanding! |

I haven't seen a list of events, but Harley is trying to get more empoyees to work it. They need about 20 more to help with demo rides and ticket taking. I'll be out of town for the 4th this year, but I won't miss the 25th FO NUTHIN. |
