I have worked at an HD/Buell dealership for 1 1/2 years now, and NEVER ridden a bike. Funny how that works right?

Well this week I took the local Ride Rite Class (new riders safety course, its like the 'drivers ed' of bikes)... and I passed the class!!

Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome the newest female rider to hit the streets!!

A safe rider is a happy rider! After all, it is physically impossible for a dead rider to be a happy one.

Buy a buell and make sure your employer respects them.

Naustin

The dealership I am at is actually a 2006 Pegasus Award winner and our new parts manager is great, he is all for Buells!

Hopefully, I will be able to buy a buell soon... we shall see : )

I love my Blast. They're cheap and they're great in town and 58 to 65 mpg in city driving -- depending on how much fun I'm having -- ain't bad neither.

congratulations lisa, it's good you took advantage of it. my daughter wasn't at work a month when they talked her into taking the course, of which they paid for. she started using the blast then one day she said she wanted to try the m2Low. and off she went without that much hesitation until she got hit in the rear on it and was kinda of skittish for a while but she's been back on the blast and also the new scg that we got to incourage my wife to get back on two wheels after having a lehman trike for a while. i finally got the wife out on saturday and she did almost 50 miles. which is a good start. always remember one thing, you are invisible and no one in a cage can see you, so keep focused and you'll do fine.

from one female driver to another - I don't know how tall you are, but the Blast is the perfect first bike. I am 5'4" and have never dumped it because all I have to do is put my foot down. I LOVE IT!
Also - Don't listen to the Harley bikers who don't wear riding gear - buy the best gear you can and wear it everytime you get on the bike. Guys love it when I take off my helmet, etc., and they see that I am a female.
