I have a real one thanks to a part trade...

You can get real ones on-line thru military surplus stores (a quick google search) but prepare to spend $$$$$$$

I think ROOF helmets would fit the bill. I'm not sure who carries them, though. I think they are made in the UK, and have to be ordered. you can try Tricktape. I think they carried them at one time.

They look very cool, but I have seen guys with some seriously sunburned noses after exteneded riding with helmets like this.

I prefer my helmets to be at least Snell certified thank you. I ride hard and like my gear to be motorcycle specific it improves my chances of survival.

Who said motorcycle? Maybe he wants it for use in his helicopter? Or his skateboard? Or he screwed up and hasn't faced the wife yet?

I second the Roof helmets. I have a Roof Bumper helmet. It even has a way-cool snap-on/off face mask that resembles a fighter pilot's breath mask. I bought it off ebay UK. They pass all the EU helmet safety standards. Here it is:

Also check out the Osbe helmet line, an Italian company. They make the Rufus and Tornado. here's a link:

KBC Force RR Airborne Edition

I have the RR, they have an older Force R (less vents).

I've gotten compliments on it more than one time.

Everyone thinks it's a custom job.
