The Science Channel has a great one hour program on today called Speed on Two Wheels. Very interesting, lot of how to, physics, and good pointers from guys with names like Mladin, Hayden, Pridmore, etc.

On now at 3:00-4:00 EST, check your local schedule!

I watched it before work at 11am EDT. Nothing really new but cool nonetheless.

Maybe I'm just easily impressed. I did throw that red hammer thing up here the other day, and I do feel bad about that.

But I can't remember ever seeing or hearing this much info on the physics of a racing motorcycle, the interplay between the rider and bike, the effects of their body position on the bike, what countersteering is and exactly how it works, etc., etc., on public TV before.

Anyway, I posted the program schedule over on the Racing topic.
