Not sure if it's my browser being wacky but BadWeb is MUCH easier to scan/read at the moment! Thank you Blake if you went to a cleaner font. I'm a fan of good 'ol Arial.. .

I noticed the same thing and got a little scared. I thought I was going blind. You know, like how a light flickers real bright before it burns out. LOL |

I shouldn't have to crank the text size up to "largest" on my 19" LCD to read this site. I could just post in the largest size to get the point across... (Message edited by tank_bueller on April 14, 2006) |

hahaa! well, there's some feedback building for ya, Blake i'm definitely a designer guilty of loving teeny-tiny, san-serif text on the web (even though i feel this change looks 'normal'. maybe one pixel size bigger? guess i'm used to the Comic Sans but its almost as bad as Brush Script... eewwwww. (yeah, i'm a font snob. too many variations = big no, no.) |

So this morning it is Arial, size 2, I think last night is was either the same thing bolded or something different. I liked that bolder one better. And there was nothing wrong with the original font. Jack |

i feel this change looks 'normal' Which is exactly what's wrong with it! Back to comic book stuff dude, please. Fan of the old "creepy" font. huh, the responses are really interesting to me. by 'normal' i meant what 'most' prefer when testing different fonts on websites and applications. i do lots of user testing and participatory design and almost always i would have received very different responses to pages mocked up in Comic Sans vs. Arial 12px. Especially for long paragraphs of text set in black on a tan background. but i'm fine either way! i'll read BadWeb just the same although i've thought to mockup a new architecture and styling a few times, just to do it. you guys would be an interesting bunch to test with. guess the group really is 'different in every sense', hahaa btw, i'm not to blame for the fonts changing. surprised Blake or someone has chimed in. i see there's been a few things getting a make-over 'round BadWeb. |

I realize my eyesight is going south quickly, but I find this font difficult to read. Could wear my glasses, but I don't wanna Henrik |

Is it true that when one's shorts are too tight it can lead to impaired vision? |

No, but I hear if your own hands are in your shorts too much it can lead to blindness, but it hasn't happened to me yet. |

Ooops! I now realize that the difference between what I saw last night and what I am seeing today resides in differences between my desktop machine and my laptop. This now looks good on my laptop so I need to figure out how to make it look good on the desktop machine. Jack |
