Well, I dont know how to take this....

But, I just had to re-negotiate my orders..as they are closing NAS Brunswick..I lost my orders...

Now, I am instead heading to REGULAR sea duty in Texas.

I had the chance to go to Cuba...but NO MOTORIZED vehicles(read no bike)....

So, anyone here near Corpus Christi, I was stationed there for a about 4 years, so I know the area....

Its irrelevant...but now i will have to put that oil cooler on....

Well good luck anyway. Were looking forward to your coming to Maine. I wondered when the base closing list went out if this would be the case. I guess the pentgon wants to put all of their eggs in one basket. With all the millions they have dumped into that base to up grade it. It is a shame to close it. Lots of people retired to up here because the base was there.

But Gitmo is such a lovely tropical place. Wonderful weather. exciting fun all the way around. Well except for the Bike,Daughter,Girl thing. The off base sightseeing is not great eather. Hey they have a great out door theater. At least they did when I was there. Just keep telling your self "It's only a year or maybe 18 months." At least you will still have us around to help ease the time.

Yeah you would have had to take the bike inside for the winter anyways.

Says who??????

I ride all year. It deosnt matter. I have been hinted at already my options for when I come back state-side....

Adn it seems, I will either end up in Seal Beach, CA, San Deigo....

Only speculation as of right now...as this is a CNO Priority Billet...which means..."the needs of the Navy".

Anyway....
