They say good news comes in threes. (whoever they are, and whatever good is) But I found out two interesting things this morning.

One is I'm being considered for a 15-day inspection project in northern Mexico (Viva Mejico!).

And two one of our local boys (last name Asbeck, Sidney MT) is employed as an engineer for Buell. How odd is that? A dinky little town on the northern plains w/ a single Buell motorcycle registered in the whole county and we can brag on having a Buell engineer from our midst?

That would be KEMP AS_BECK (you can't put the name together or you become a sponsor).

Recognize him?

"I passed a physical agility test for a police department today..."

Was it the tough one? Where you have to be able to cleanly pick up two cups of coffee and four doughnuts, carry them 30 feet, and then open a car door without spilling any coffee or dropping a doughnut?

I am joking of course, it would not have even crossed my mind had it not been for your handle. Good luck with the process!

Why would anyone want to be a cop? Don't ask me, I am the guy that went in the Navy in 1964 (when most of my friends were finding ways to avoid the draft) and stayed there for 26 years.

I'm always amazed at what a small world it really is. Whether I'm dropping a pit on Prince of Wales Is, or stuffing my face at a buffet in Pto Morelos, Q. Roo (Mexico)I keep running into to folks I know, or friends of friends, etc. I read somewhere once that we're all just a few generations removed from being related to one another anyway.

Rob

Oh, Kemp would be the one on the far right?
