Hey 'yall, I finally got an offer to work at Capital City HD/B in Madison. I may start part-time soon. Bad news is the M2L is way behind in payments (three months at the end of this month) and I am still doing a bankruptcy. Anyone have any ideas how to come up with $600 quick please let me know! Char, I hear that table dances or pie eating contests bring in a lot of quick cash. I for one have never seen a table that I wanted to watch dance. The pie eating sounds interesting though, good luck. |

Char...have you tried talking to someone at the financial institute? Explain you situation and try to make some type of payment. They may be willing to work with you. It's really in their best interest (too many costs in repo). Good luck and congrats on the new job!!! |

Mention defereing a payment....they just move it to the end of the loan...extend it a month.... Had to do that a couple times when things got tough. Chase |

Char, Good to her from you again! For some reason I thought of you this weekend when I was working on my M2. I wondered if you ever got your carb jetting sorted out. Give your creditors a call, they's much rather deal with you than have to go though the hassle of a repo. Good luck! |

BTW Char...3 months behind isnt that bad...just do not let the bike get repo'd or you will be really screwed. They will sell the bike for minimal & you will still owe the balance. Beg/borrow/steal...whatever you need to do to get the $$. Good luck. |

Actually, Did not get an offer from Cap City... they just wanted to see if I was available to possibly work... hmmmmmnnnnn. As far as the BANK/ AKA owner of my bike... I have tried to get a deferment... no luck/ asked for a re-finance with a few skipped payments... no luck either there... Someone owes me $680 and says they will pay by July 1st... THAT would solve this little dilema. But it might take me and my boyfriend traveling up north and applying some leverage. Dunno |

PS Dyna the owner is not fond of Buells there at all... that is why I must work there... to slowly and systematically change his mind... |

What ever you do, move the bike from your known address, and make sure it is locked in a garage somewhere, not at a relatives or friends or reference used on bank loans. The weasels come and steal things out of the driveway even if you tell them you are bringing it to the bank the next morning. I watched a friend go through this a few years ago, then the weasels charged him a hundred bucks to get his tools for work and his personal items after they stole his car. Er....Ah.....By the way.....I believe yer sittin' on a gold mine. (Message edited by swampy on June 20, 2005) |

Talked with my friend that owes me money today. Hopefully he will come through like he says he will... not holdin' my breath... not afraid of repo people either... this bank is a little more humane than the bank that owns my car...
