Rob, like so many people here we learn and know of each other long before we ever put a handshake and a face to those we consider brothers. BadWeB has been a vehicle for many new friendships as evidenced by the way members answer calls such as yours. 'Can't add anything that hasn't already been said except that maybe you should know there's a lot of people like me who lurk more than post and I suspect they are just as moved by your situation as those who do. I know I am. Ride in Peace, JB2

There's only one thing
Gonna make me cry
There's only one thing
Make ole' Preacher Boy cry
Growing old...
Watchin' all my good friends die!

Rob.. It seems it's all been said before..

I know we've yet to ride a mile together, we've yet to share a laugh in person.. But, we shared this place in cyberspace.. We shared this love of riding.. We've shared time together while miles apart.. We're Friends and always will be. You and your family are in my prayers.. I know someday we'll meet and laugh and ride and have a great time together, until that time, we here thank you for 'pre-riding' the roads on the other side for us.

God Speed - God Bless

Goodbye My Friend.

D@mn that sucks!!! I'm sitting here crying for a guy I've never met. The terrible big-C has touched my life in many ways. I lost my father-in-law to a long and agonizing bout with cancer. He stayed strong and fought tooth and nail to beat that beast. As with Aonmy's uncle, it took 6 long years to final beat him down. It's amazing how strong the mind is over the body.

Stay stong Rob!!! We'll be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I too have been affected by cancer. Lost a few friends and one girlfriend. It's tough to watch, but must be far harder to endure.

Just reading a few of your posts makes me wish to be a better man.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

Went on a Bike Ride up the North Shore of Lake Superior today. It was kind of rainy day and a little chilly, but it was still very beautiful. The Good lord works in Mysterious ways. He let me go out on my Ride to Appreciate his creation, and I felt Great. Soon as I got home Started to lose Vision in my right eye.. The Docs said this could happen due to where cancer is, Optical nerves could be affected. So I thank the Good Lord one last time for a good hard look around, So I think it's just his way of a sneek peek of the Beauty of things to come. So Thank you God, For giving me one last great ride.

Thanks for the assurance, Team. Yes, that's what I was getting at. I am so glad to know. ALthough I have not seen you here, I will meet you someday in heaven.

I am reminded of the passage where the Lord had sent the disciples in a boat out into the Sea. He said he would meet them at their shore destination and so they went on alone.

Before long, the winds kicked up and were contrary to their progress. They strained against the oars as they battled the storm. It grew dark and very rough. By all human reason, they might have concluded that something was very wrong...that they needed to get out of that situation and FAST. Yet, they were right in the middle of God's will. Christ had directed them to do so and that's where they were. You know the rest of the story...Christ walked out to meet them on the surface of the water. Still at the height of panic and fear, they cried out when they saw Him, the circumstances of their plight panicking them into not recognizing Jesus. He stepped into the boat and rebuked the wind and the waves. And they came immediately to their destination.

That's how it is for the believer. Don't be afraid for the storm, Jesus is coming to you right in the middle of it. When He reaches you, you will immediately come to your destination.

I just emailed Penny S., AKA Kandie and told her how fortunate I have been lately. Truly Fortunate I have been in love with Three Women In my Lifetime. One I'm Currently with (Steph)Significant other. And Two Ex-Girlfriend who are both married now to Two Great guys and both have children. When the Heard the news via Steph. They both have taking time out of their own lives to come up here and help take care of me. That's when it really hit me how lucky and Blessed I am for not trying to burn any Bridges in my Life. (but now I remember why I broke up with them) LOL just kidding. All three of them get along like best friends, always have, which is great! Why would I just want one person nagging at me, when I could have Three? LOL just kidding again, maybe. It's starting to feel like Grand Central Station around here with Family, Friends etc...coming and going. I'm trying to see all the little ones first Nephews and Nieces, so the will remember me when I'm somewhat normal. Adults understand better, if I start to lose my Marbles.LOLThanks again for all the Support and prayers

Steph or one of others will keep you guys informed if not able to in the future, I have completely lost vision in one eye now. The good news is I don't need a contact for that eye now. Sorry Lame attempt at a Joke.

BadS1= Thanks I was Looking forward To Homecoming/Road America to meeting a lot of you guys, of all the Forums I've been on, This one is most like a family to me. The Buell Family. I have a lot of Motorcycles in my Life Sportbikes,Cruisers and others. But My XB12S is by far my favorite. Thanks Erik for this wonderful machine. If anybody knows Erik please tell him I said so or mention it to him at Homecoming. I think the first thing I'm going to ask God when I meet him, is not about the Secrets of the Universe. It will be how much is Shipping from Earth to Heaven? God knows I love this bike.
Thanks,
Rob

I have to post something, but I don't know what to say. I lost my mother to cancer 17 months ago, and I still haven't fully recovered from the loss. Thanks for keeping us informed. If there's anything I or anyone else can do, just let us know. There are a lot of people on this board who'd walk through fire to help one another out.
