I guess it's time for the annual "Race Results Do's and Don'ts": Mark; no personal jab at you, just a polite request: Some of us don't get to watch the races as they happen - or even in the first days/weeks after. So, as a courtesy, so as not to spoil the surprise for us, please DO NOT! post race results in the first few lines of your posts. When you do, they show up in the post listing (using the Search function) right there for all to see, and impossible to avoid. Instead, for instance, start your post with something like "Le Mans Race Spoiler. Please be warned - do not read if you haven't watched" and then proceed with your posting. That way, if we haven't watched the race, we can stay clear and still get to enjoy the race. Thank you for your consideration. Henrik |

After 2nd practice the combined timesheets are: 1. Barros 2. Gibernau 3. Biaggi 4. Edwards 5. Rossi 6. Nakano 7. Melandri 8. Hopkins 9. Checa 10.Hayden I wouldn't put money on Rossi finishing that far down though

Henrik, Why does it take weeks for you to get MotoGP race results in Queens !...you had better ask Speed not to do the same . |

Adrian Oh, can't blame Speed .... this time at least. between long days at work and "a few" home projects I'm now 16 AMA, FIM and MotoGP races behind the times - and I've got no idea how I'm going to keep up once Supermoto really gets going Henrik |

OK, Posting race results!!! do not read! Man, what a great race. AMA Superbike followed by GP on speed. I give credit to the champions where it is due, but I find myself routing for the underdogs. Anyone else do that?? It was cool to see the 2 american bikes out front early, but it wasn't to last... I gasped at Rossi's mistake that took him down to third, but he made it up in short order. Rossi is the true champion. |

This guy (Rossi)is amazing!!! He really want to win over anything. Great race! Don't know what's happen to Hayden. He was running well and start to lost positions one after another....??? For the AMA Superbike, you almost forget about the man who lead the race and look for the fight for other position. Mladin is really a speed over the other guys! |

I feel sorry for Baros. I hope he's oke. So.... after so many hours after finish, are there still people wondering who won? I think Gibernau did a great work out there. I hope I'm not the only one hoping he would win? |

Yea, I was routing for him...I like Rossi, but for whatever reason, I wanted to see him beat? I hope Barros is OK too. Also, just saw a spot on Speed about a racer taken to ICU at the FX race Sonoma. I hope he's OK. I didn't catch who it was... |

Mladin is really a speed over the other guys! Nope, that would be his Suzuki. If the Ducati can find extra pace Hodgson will leave the rest of the field for dead. As it stands now the rules in all the major Super Bike national series, British AMA Japan etc, and WSB itself favour the four cylinder machines. As for Moto GP Gibernau hurt his tyres playing catch up as he set a blistering pace coming through the field. Rossi on the other hand took it relatively easy if you'll forgive me for making it sound so. I'm sure it's not but he was sat behind Edwards just biding his time wasting no energy and tyre rubber until Gibernau caught up. This left Rossi with preserved tyres. Just what the Doctor ordered for the closing stages of the race just in case they were needed. And indeed they were and those same tyres also gave Rossi the opportunity to set a new lap record on the last lap. Something that's unheard of really. Rocket |
