Ordered up a Corbin seat this morning, hopefully the seats are as comfy as the owners claim. In the past I have had a Sargeant & a Mustang seat on different bikes & was quite happy with both of them. I have read that Corbins can take some time to break in, will see how it goes. Picked the Carbon Fiber laminated leather with matching sides. Not into anything goofy looking.

Dyna...That Corbin looks really nice and really accentuates the angles of your bike. I don't think I would sweat the comfort. Corbin's can take up to 2,000 miles to break in. I think my only suggestion would be to break it in without the weasel squeezers. That way you give it a chance to conform to your tush. If after a few thousand miles you aren't satisfied, you can dig the squeezers out of the closet. |

Hope your's fits better than mine. It's on the bike but took some fabrication. Let me know how it works out. |

You will love the Crobin. I have them on several of my bikes and they are the best. They are VERY firm and your first thought will be, This is a brick, But after riding it all day long you will wonder why does my butt not hurt as bad as with the stock seat. Enjoy Marc |

I've heard horror stories about the fit of Corbin seats (from the guys at the local BMW shop). Hope you have better luck, Dyna. |

Checking on corbin's site I noticed they have one for the 2003 lighting. Anyone know if that will work on the XB9SX? |

Sure will, but probably not as nice as the stock City Cross seat. |

Dont know anyone who rides a city cross yet, but the locals with their XB9 Lows could certainly use a nice seat. I thought my bikes stock seat was uncomfortable until I sat on both Fierys & CJ's bikes. A brick with a vinyl cover over it comes to mind. |
