I did not know that!

I'm sticking with Stevie Gadd and for precisely that reason. He is the king of studio drummers and has played with everyone.

Glad to see one of my high school bandmates made the list, Phil Ehart. Chris Livgren was the bass player in our band when we were doing the "holiday inn drunken traveling salesmen" gig. Roxanne Degraw, later to become Roxanne Livgren, played the good ol Fender Rhodes and was a Stevie Nicks lookalike...looks and style.

: )

We may need to start a music board!

"We may need to start a music board! "}

Music to Buell by. I have to say that looking at these latest threads help me remember some of the stuff in my record collection I haven't listen to in a long time. Bands like:

Wishbone Ash
Nectar
Gentle Giant
Renaissance
King Crimson (old & new)
Camel
Humple Pie (Live at the Filmore - A++)
Anthony Phillips (original Genisis guitarist)
Head East
Deep Purples - Burn (w/ David Coverdale; good blues/metal album)
and many more..............

Perhaps having a music link would bring out more music that a lot of us have forgotten about or just never knew.

From Mozart to Metal - it's all good (well maybe not the 70's disco stuff)}

Doudou N'Diaye Rose.

he has one album, recorded live in Senegal. He leads 80 drummers, accompanied by a choir of 50 singers. If you like drums and percussion in an African flavor, this will blow you away.

He's called "The legendary Master Drummer of Senegal". He's worthy of that title, believe me.

After the Grateful Dead broke up Mickey Hart went out on his own w/ a totally percussion group (Mystery Box). My wife drug me down to Eugene OR one year to listen to them at the Country Fair. I was like, oh great now I have to listen to a bunch'a goof balls banging on their bongos for three hours...

Turns out to be a very good show, very impressive and highly entertaining. Especially the Brazilian dancers (hubba-hubba).
