when i went home on leave as i entered the dallas airport they had a bunch of wwII vets along with veitnam and korea vets all waiting on us to welcome us home those were some great guys to talk to they were so amazed to see our patches to be the same ones they wore when they were fighting and it was so cool to lesten to them tell us of some of there experiances. i have the upmost respect of them.

Milburn "Shine" Easly was a good friend, neighbor, and drinking buddy of mine. He wasn't at Pearl, but he enlisted in the Marines on December 8, 1941 and spent the next 4 years in the Pacific as an amphibious tank driver. It was a pleasure to have him as a friend in my life.
