``I'm not entirely sure what would happen if you crashed at 200 miles per hour,'' Swanson said. ``But it wouldn't be pretty, that's for sure.'' Sheesh, there goes what little respect we had. Twenty and no license. Man alive, what next. |

Can't wait to see this outcome. Let alone the fine, my last speeding ticket in wisconsin topped $300 |

the wisconsin constabulary is ever-vigilant, and the legislature seems bent on making up for falling revenues by taking it out of the pockets of FBIs fast boys from illinois |

Yes, I talked to him today. I told him I'd come and check up on him in the hospital if he was dumb enough to cut his anniversary/vacation short to go to the crud run. We will be on our own for a route from Pine Bluff to Leland. Are you going to meet us in Madison? Dave |

Hey, if it weren't for the FBI, us Cheeseheads would have to use one another for "Bear Bait." As it is, you guys are always in such a hurry, we just slide into the "Rockin'Chair" and let you get the tickets. |

What's all this talk about Wisconsin and cheeseheads? The guy was in Minnesota not Wisconsin!
quote:With a State Patrol airplane overhead, a Stillwater motorcyclist hit the throttle and possibly set the informal record for the fastest speeding ticket in Minnesota history: 205 mph.
I'm not sure if it's anything for MN motorcyclists to be proud of though. 205 mph on a public road plus on a Saturday afternoon? I know 61 always has a lot of traffic on the weekends. Not too bright. |

205, kid might get off since that speed is pretty much impossible therefore what speed can th ecops testify he was going? Certainly not 205. |

John...Was teasing Bomber on his post about the "Fast Boyz from Illinois" getting tickets in Wisconsin. Honest...We really do use them for "Bear Bait." You just have to monitor your rear view mirror or they will run you over if you aren't going fast enough for them. Can't wait to read more about the kid in Minnesota. A lot of places would impound the bike immediately and the perp would go directly to jail pending a hearing and bail. Additionally, the fine would be astronomical and there would be mandatory jail time or at least community service. This is going to be interesting to follow. |
