this sucks...freakin hurricanes in the mountains

(I was riding this section Labor Day Weekend)

News updates from the official Blue Ridge Parkway site. The Parkway was cut in at least 4 places between Mt. Mitchell and Linville and this is BEFORE Ivan rolled into town.

tornado ripped through my dads property in panama city beach, so i'll be helping him this week instead of attending running the ridge. y'all be careful out there and i'll see ya on the next one. sure was looking forward to attending.

Hell, there are plenty of roads besides the actual parkway. You could spend an entire day just running up and down the parkway access roads.

Yeah we could always go to the Biltmore Estates...
Unfortunatly it's the whole area, not just the Park Way.
There are other roads though...

Buell doesn't make a PWC? What's up w/ that? HD makes golf carts, seems like Buell should get in on the wet-bike craze!!

Wrong!!! HD made golf carts at least in the 1960's at the Capitol Drive plant. I worked on the assembly line.
