Roger told me about a bike event at Iggys so the wife & I headed down there.

Holy 5hit were there ever a lot of bikes down there. Called Rog when we hit Lake cook & he had already left, we managed to score a parking spot about 4 blocks away. Never did get into Iggys tho to meet Yaffe or Mitchell. Wall to wall people & they had the entrance basically closed until someone left. At 1 point there was a group of about 60 biker boyz wannabes that were riding in a pack down the street. The Outlaws had one entire corner & down a side street fenced off for themselves..easily a couple hundred from a number of different chapters.

Here are a few pics, I have more just wont get them up tonight.

The crowd right outside Iggys.

This was on a real pile of crap Honda, pretty funny.

Check out this exhaust on a HD, had this sparkplug near the tip & he could inject raw gas & create one hell of a flame show.

And this made my night. Saw 2 Buells, both X1's. 1 was a 99 the guy was trying to sell for $6800, this is the other one. Notice anything missing?

And it looks like it had the new updated Y-mount hanger as well.
Looks like the old style WileyCo. Probably had the packing blown out and the screen inside vibrates and basically somehow rips the tabs off. Looks exactly like the failure mode of the exhaust on my M2, except mine didn't fall off.

I'm back to the stock exhaust on the M2 for now.

ps, where's the pics of the Outlaws, eh? ; )

Probably hung up on one of the infamous Chi-Town pot holes or speed bumps. LOL

Pics of Outlaws...Good luck.

Didn't know it till this weekend but there are folks floating around the biker events in the Milwaukee area in full HD Rat Bike Drag and their sole purpose is to be an outlaw gang member spotter. They see one or more and call the cops so they can follow the perp(s) everywhere and harass them by merit of there Hi Vis presence which curtails the outlaw bikers illegal activities. Makes sense to me.

Free agents or undercover agents in "drag"?

They must have rented that video on the undercover FBI guy.

Sometimes they don't mind if you ask. ; )
But understood none the less. Best to get home with the same hole count and parts as what you left with.

Pics of Outlaws...Good luck

In the pics above there are several pics with outlaws, however the photographer is a chicago cop i ride with from time to time, and in reality if your a cop in Chicago, outlaws are really of little concern, the guy had little fear especially on that street, and with some of his feinds who were near by, plus they look like you and me on the day, except the buldge in the middle of there back, how many UC's did you spot Greg???

I couldnt count all the UC cars, I would say probably 75% or more of the cars on North ave were filled with cops tho. It was great when we left, no cops anywhere else in the city: D

Rocket...Sorry Man, You are going to have to buy the comic book. They hate having their pic taken now that the Feds are down on them nationwide.

Rocket,
do a google image search, lots of pics.
to view the life is one thing,
to live it totally another.
hard road, shallow ditch, few exits.
not worth the ride from the inside.

Thanks Mike, Outr',

I like the dress sense of outlaw m\c gangs. I've always been a sucker for skulls too. The Angels 'Death Head' is my favourite back patch.

A couple of the Nottingham chapter Angels had S1W White Lightning's when they first came out. The 'Death Head' was painted onto the fuel tanks and they looked great. Don't know whether they've still got the Buells.

I spent a little time outside the Angels club house in New York, totally captivated by the skulls and stuff painted on their rides.

For you fans of old BMW's

This seat was huge...much bigger in person than the pic shows.

Mufflers?? We dont need no stinkin mufflers.

Baddest scoot there: D

This one was real clean, had the longest rake I have ever seen tho.

Whomever rode this had to be 10' tall. The apes were 6' in the air.

Crazy gas tank on the panhead.

The guy with the tall apes is almost 7 feet tall, bars look good with him on the bike, he is also a fire depatment member, notice the plate PYRO

The pan, has a small keg for a gas tank, nice guy, he spun the hub for the rear wheel, had an ignigter for a flame show

Both were built in there respective garages, and there is a new one due out next year, with some 15k pan motor due to arrive any day
nice guys, very old school

I couldnt believe the quality of a lot of the bikes Rog. Now obviously quite a few of the bikes were Texas Ironhorse, Big Dogs, etc, but seeing what guys are doing in their own garage is what I like to see.

Im digging this pipe

The wife likes em loud, well hell with the exhaust aimed right upward you will get the full effect: D
